there were 60k deaths per year. Without DDT, malaria deaths increased
to 6 million a year. That is approximately 5 times faster than the
Nazi death camps were able to eliminate people. Where the Nazis killed
mostly adults, malaria kills mostly children. That is a net of 5.4
million a year. The beneficial effects of DDT in india were pretty much
all gone by 1978, so you can do the math. How many people is 5.4
million per year for 40 years? it is safe to say that Rachel carson
killed more people in india alone than all the 20th century
commie/socialist murderers combined. add in all the other countries, and
all the other insect borne mosquitoes, and it is many times worse.

The truth is that DDT was not banned due to any scientific research, buy
due to the hysteria drummed up by one rachel carson. The little
scientific research that has been done on DDT indicates that rachel
carson was a charlatan, and that DDT is one of the safest pesticides
available. It used to be common practice to spray or dip livestock in
a DDT solution to reduce problems from insect borne diseases. You
can't do that with most of the insecticides available after DDT was
banned. Most of those are chlorinated hydrocarbons: Parathion, Guthion,
Malathion and similar compounds. Doing so would kill the livestock.
Since you are unlikely to believe anything I cite, DO YOUR OWN
RESEARCH! In your favorite search engine type in "how many deaths is
rachel carson responsible for?" then start reading. There is plenty of
information, from multiple sources.
Turn off the propaganda and start doing your own reading of real
research. Learn to discern fake and faulty"statistics." Read and learn
from the book "How to lie with statistics." It will help you discern
the charlatans. Look into who paid for the research. Companies who
fund research don't like results that don't favor their product.
Researchers who don't produce favorable results loose funding.
In the case of DDT, there was no basis in scientific research. It was
banned due to hysteria.
