Apparently 2 valves, one for front and one for rear, it would appear the front valve has failed (or nearly so as it drops slowly).  tophydraulics want $500 for a rebuild.  I have to research some more, see if it is DIYable.  Saw a chinesium valve for like $450 "new."

I haven’t, and as a result my understanding of this system is limited. Are
there two or more valves, or just the leveling valve in the rear like on two
wheel SLS? And if there is only one valve in the rear, where are the front
spheres connected in the system relative to the leveling valve?

If all four wheels (spheres) are connected together, I would think that if one
or more failed it could affect the system as a whole. Even more so if more than
one was bad.

This is the four wheel version, not rear wheel SLS.
