There was a sport package of some sort (notice the round fog lights) but the ML55 was the only AMG model W163.
Sometimes I wish I'd bought that rusty burgundy ML55 for $2k three years ago and found another W163 for a donor body. Or thrown away the body and built a dune buggy on the frame.
