Sunday evening fun...

So I thought I finally got set up with IAAI to bid on cars at auction after putting in all my info and paying $200.  They screwed around the other day finalizing it and I missed an E500 that I thought might be a good deal to get some bits for this one I have, the suspension looked to be sitting OK and the fender and doors I need were OK and would be a color match.  It sold for $525, no telling what bidding would have gone to but I was thinking my max would be $600.  Anyway...

This car was in NC, public can buy cars there but here in SC you need a dealer or salvage license.  So that's a good deal.

So I'm looking at cars today, there is an 03 E500 like this one I have, different color though, and anyone can bid on it it says. https://www.iaai.com/Vehicle?itemID=32073516&RowNumber=12&loadRecent=True\.

it's kinda buggered up interior wise,, won't start, looks like someone started to strip it or something so maybe it would go cheepcheep.  The left front fender is smashed though, I need that, but it is sitting OK and has pimp wheels that are probably worth something too.

But there is a notice that says "You cannot Bid/Buy.
- You are either a guest buyer or the status of your account does not permit you to buy."

I sent them a msg which they might answer in a week, and it takes forever to get through on the phone, to find out exactly what it is I signed up for.

There's another one that doesn't have a sale date specified yet but the metal looks OK and it is not collapsed. https://www.iaai.com/Vehicle?itemID=32502952&RowNumber=44&loadRecent=True
