Rick,
I just sent a "test message" to the list which I knew was over the limit
and when I got the "Your message to Mercedes awaits moderator approval"
email, I immediately canceled it.
The "Your message to Mercedes awaits moderator approval" email said:
Your mail to 'Mercedes' with the subject
test message
Is being held until the list moderator can review it for approval.
The reason it is being held:
Message body is too big: 2302815 bytes with a limit of 1050 KB
Either the message will get posted to the list, or you will receive
notification of the moderator's decision. If you would like to
cancel this posting, please visit the following URL:
I knew the limit was just over 1000 kB, but I did not remember the exact
number.
