At one point in one of the southern states there was a legal limit to the 
amount of insulation a home was allowed to have. I don't remember why but there 
was some outrage over it...

No insulation, just a little bit of decking for storage.

Until recently it wasn’t an option as we stored stuff up there. I’ve moved 
nearly everything out and into a storage unit off site, so I could probably do 
it now.
