Still scrap if the rachet is broken. Unless someone has a source for
the rachet repair kits...
A working crappy cheep chinee rachet is better than a dead crapsman

Yeah but they’ll swap your worn out ratchets with Asian made ones. If you look
online, you might be able to buy rebuild kits for your USA ratchets. If you
have a vintage craftsman RHFT (round head fine tooth) ratchet, do not swap it
out as these are quite desirable and valuable!
