Not worth it. I buy what is needed as needed and support local
businesses. Or else buy it online, and that mostly supports local
businesses. I no longer buy from the river of mean wimmins. I never
bought much there, but now everything I look at is overpriced.

Well, you might still break even if you bought enough on each of those
trips. Costco is known for offering big quantities of stuff!
