I already bought new ones and put them on the car. I'm trying to see
if these can be salvaged to put on the shelf as spares. Probably not,
but I was able to save 1 of the 4. It is already on the shelf, ready
to go.

I like Craig's idea of the grease gun best, if you can't stomach
buying new
ones ...
