The article is wrong on many levels.

" The coronavirus is driving the huge dip in oil prices" is false.  The
economic crisis has been driven by our government mandating social
distancing and shutting down "non-essential" activities, like churches and
most businesses. Other countries (Sweden for instance) are not taking this
approach, and so they have not cratered their economy.

" The oil industry didn’t get the memo, though, and just kept digging up
more oil."  Very ignorant statement.  Once a well is producing, one cannot
simply shut it off.  Oil doesn't come from a spigot.  Oil is not "dug up",
that is coal.

" What all this points to is the need for government intervention and
stat."  Ah, now we have the true intent of the author: Use the crisis to
increase government power.  Nice.

Now I remember why I stopped reading that site, it's almost all fake news
and propaganda.
