No, it's not. But not too horrible if all it needs is a reasonably-priced servicing. I do not ever intend to have a front-loader, I think they're inherently more failure-prone. Water here is free. It is pumped up out of our own well, used, and (eventually) dumped back out on the ground to filter back down to the aquifer.
