I did a garage (flat) roof with torch-applied stuff many years back. It's IMO a 
better and easier method than hot tar & felt. I'm sure the materials are more 
expensive.

Hot tar and roofing felt is traditional roofing material. I've done it as a 
youth. It's bull work.

What is a good product to use to seal up some small pin holes/cuts in
the tin roof of my barn?  I am thinking some sort of think tar like roof
sealant or something.  I also need to seal up some leaks around the
heater vents in the shop so maybe the same product would work for both?
