"State officials reported Saturday that the coronavirus death toll in
Massachusetts had risen by 38 to 7,576 while the number of people who have
tested positive climbed by 336 to 105,395, figures that include both
confirmed and probable cases of the virus. *Other key metrics monitored by
state officials showed continued improvement as well.* [emphasis added]

But in big swaths of the rest of the country, the trends do not look so
encouraging."
