And although solar panels do have an effective "lifespan" they aren't garbage at the end of it all that happens is the efficiency decreases, they'll work for decades (at least) afterward. There is actually a big trade in used solar panels. Whoever wrote that article doesn't really know what they're talking about and is trying to make controversy where none exists. -Curt
