Good job.  Those switches are vulnerable to anything spilled on the console 
(traditionally, Germans don't eat in cars but Americans do).  Plus there are 
decades of dust and corrosion.  Switches are mechanically simple (EZ repair if 
plastic not brittle) but springs make assembly a bit tricky.

I took apart the window switches learning from Youtube ...Really easy to do and 
my switches are like new . Had 4 of them and did them all .I didn't bother with 
the child lock since I don't use it . Definite new "Click" to the switch
