I worked with a guy in like 1982 or so who had a white E-type coupe, black 
interior, was in beautiful shape. Got married and the new wife didn’t think it 
was appropriate so he had to sell it. I think maybe $3k or so if I recall. Even 
in today’s dollars that would be what, $10-12k?  I was not particularly partial 
to the coupes or I might have considered it.
