That’s the only reason I bought it. I figure worse case I transplant the

After dropping that car off I headed to OKC to look at another 240D.
Was on CL listed as them having bought it from original owner, bad
transmission. I asked about rust and they said very little. When I get
there car is way more rusty that I planned on. Has some underbody rust, and
rust along the back of the rear windshield. Car fired right up immediately
and runs great, but does not go into gear. They said it was low on fluid,
who knows. I was really going to pass due to the rust. They were asking
$700, I offered $400 and we settled on $450. I will have to look at it
closer but I’m not sure if this will be a parts car or something to get
going and flip. Will get pics and you can decide. Back in the day it would
be a parts car, but now days not so sure.
