The $500E300 is worth maybe $1500-1800 IF you get it running , net $1000-1300 after who knows how much driving and work and whether it will even work what with the nannies.
The CD would be worth LOTS more and getting it going would be a lot more straightforward and likely. Plus you can do the work trip, cover some costs.
