Yeah it is just that the diff mounts are not engineered for that much load,
so the rubber gets smashed.

I put a 2x6 about 18" long on the floor jack pad, then put that under the
car Jack point pad, running fore and aft. Jack it up.  Stack lumber under
both ends of the 2x6. Remove jack. Reverse order to let it down.
