Yeah that’s mostly gone on the 2 E320s. More gone now that I hit them On the back with the PW
Interestingly the old TD mats that are at least 25yo I would guess, probably not original but aftermarket, are rubber backed and are fine. One of the TD rear mats had a gob of what looked like dried chewing gum worked into the carpet. I tried some Goo Gone to no effect. The googs suggested WD40 so I soaked it good with that and after sitting a coupla hours and scraping it with a blade for awhile it mostly came out. About the only thing WD40 is good for.
