As you may recall a while back I was in the hospital due to blood clots. They put me on Xarelto. It was still a mystery as to why this happened in the first place. My primary doctor sent me to a cancer doctor to figure it out. Went back to him for the 2nd time last week to run tests. Turns out I evidently have something called antiphospholid antibody syndrome. They are moving me from Xarelto to Coumadin for some reason which will require me to get blood tests weekly for a few weeks then monthly after. I guess I will ask but not sure why they would take me off the newer state of the art blood thinner that requires no testing to this older cheaper medication that does.
