A few weeks back there was a guy selling a 70s Cad hearse for pretty cheap ($2500?), he had bought 2 from a guy, was using one of them or something, and wanted to sell this one.  It had been sitting for awhile but ran, not well, but would start and run, needed filters, ignition work, whatever.  Those old GMs are pretty simple, I think this one was before all the emissions crap too.  He had thrown $900 at it to get it drivable and didn't want to fool with it anymore, this was about what he had in it.  Kid sounded legit.

Anyway a friend was talking about something to go camping in with her friends and I showed her this thing and she was really excited but her friends were not so much, hearse aspect scared them for some reason.  A few days later I run into this woman who is also a friend of this friend (and she is LOADED$$$$) and she starts saying that our friend told her about the car, we should buy it for her, blahblah.  Sure, let's do that you buy it, I will get it sorted, then we can give it to her.  I sent the particulars then never heard back from her so she was just trash talking.  Anyway I let it slide though for the money it would have been a pretty good deal I think if you had any interest in a hearse.

Prewar Cadillac limo is my bucket list car. I love limos in general as long as
they’re pre-1970 or thereabouts, but the prewar models really rock.

That R-R hearse is pretty cool. I’ve often wondered if you couldn’t gut the
rear compartment in one of theses and put in seating?
