Sounds reasonable. If that does not work right, the lift can go down
and back up again. Or you can use a ladder ad go in the car while it
is up.

One of the next projects with the lift will be replacing the shocks on
the 99 E300. Never done it with a lift and looking for whatever
procedure you guys with lifts use. Do you remove the top nuts while
its on the ground, then lift, replace shocks, set it back on the
ground and reinstall top nuts?
