I figured it was because my current laptop runs windows 10 and the original one I used with these CD's was probably win.7 or earlier. The DVD drive doesn't even show up in my laptop directory as running. The drive D just buzzes then slowly stops but never actually opens up on the laptop. Maybe my drive is shot, don't use it much now a days; mostly use thumb drives..
