In Michigan, there's Parts Only, which is supposed to be limited to salvage licensed dealers, Salvage - I believe any dealer can buy, Clean Title - anybody can buy, and my favorite, which the donation cars often use: Clean Title Dealer Only - meaning the seller doesn't want you to have it.
I bought my ML350 from State Farm via CoPart, it was clean title deer damaged. The windshield sticker had the CoPart stock number, with State Farm Comprehensive printed across the bottom.
