The HF parts washer I bought some years ago is entirely adequate, but only if you use solvent. The detergent cleaners were pretty worthless. It also has a fuse in the spring mechanism that holds the lid up, so that if a fire starts it'll drop the lid to smother it. (Assuming your whatsis doesn't stick up too far!)
Sub-freezing solvent doesn't work too well, so I also submerged a heater into my tank. One uses that _very_ carefully! I haven't used it in awhile.
