Working on these cars has sure taught me not to start disassembling something until I know what I'm in for.
Right now I'm trying to figure out how difficult it is to replace the timing device on my 606.910 engine. (a 124- '95 E300D). The vacuum pump driving cam looks lumpy and maybe I should replace it. The shop manual on CD has a reference to procedure 07.1-8014 at coordinates B-8; and 07.1-8050 at coordinates G-8. If I search the disk, I can't find any files with those numbers.
