Ever notice the huge crowd of spectators/tech's/picture takers around the cars as they leave? You need a stable car to drive out in and avoid have to make excuses after for a tragic accident. I follow a LOT of drag racing. None would ever be allowed to be forward of the rear wheels of a car while it "Launches". They can and do turn hard port/starboard in extreme cases of breakage
