Yeah, I can never remember to pop the hood and pull the piece of tape off the booster to look for corrosion. It’s the joint between the halves of the booster, where under some circumstances moisture could collect and cause it to rust. It’s covered by a piece of tape that they pull off to do a visual inspection. If they see rust they consider the car VOR (vehicle off road).
The sunroof recall on W211s is for delaminating of the glass.
