There was a woman over on Kiawah a coupla years ago was trying to get
pics of a gator, or pet it, or something, and it got her and ate quite a
bit. Another man was pretty much eaten by one he had tormented although
it was said he had died before the gator got him. Golfers get arms
bitten off trying to recover golf balls. There is a golf course across
the road that has ponds with some big ones in it but so far no one has
been attacked by them.
There used to be huge ones around here, 12-15ft, it was said that
justice involved the miscreants and gators having a get-together
