I have not yet worked a procedure that I am comfortable with jacking up the
front of my car. I have a decent floor jack and can get it to interface with
the underside jack point that has the rubber pad under the car ( near the side
entry point for the factory jack). The problem with this: is where do I put the
jack stand? ( I always use jack stands). So far I have only done minor things
with only one side of car jacked up. Main load has remained on floor jack but
had jack stand under the welded diagonal part of the body near by. I have not
attempted to put the full load on the jack stand on this however it would hold
in an jack failure (maybe bending underside a little..). However this is not
what I am looking for. Want to find a method of having the car rest on the jack
stands in a secure manner without making the car 'un-happy'
