I looked at the chapter on removal and installation of the rear parking brake cable, 42-525, and saw there are different types of attachments for the brake cable to the brake assembly. Comparing how the brake cable on my car is attached to those pictured in 42-525 showed my car to have the "diagonal swing axle" and not the "diagonal swing axle with starting torque compensation".
