I don't know if they're one of our customers but we have a couple systems that can do that. We've got one that will let you edit on an iPad using a low resolution copy of the media which then automatically relinks to the high res stuff for playout.
Using low res proxy media dramatically lowers the data rate which reduces the load on the wifi network allowing for more clients and a better editing experience. We've also got the ability to build virtual PCs in the cloud and use cloud storage for the media. We can even do that on what amounts to a rental system which can spin up and be ready for use in a couple hours.
