My dad's was a heap, barely ran at best. The worst part is he sold it to get a Vega. This was when my mom drove a Pinto.
After the Pinto got wrecked they got a Lynx which was a Mercury badged Escort. Dad replaced the Vega with a Tempo. The Lynx was rusted completely out within 5 years.
