In looking thru the manuals on this 123, the manual shows 15w40 good down to 23 where as later and I believe current oil charts show it good down to 5 IIRC. Why such a big difference from back in the old days? Is 15w40 today that much better and can be used at lower temps than 15w40 from 40 years ago?
