Our microwave had the first example I've run across of failing "on". You put food in it, started the cooking cycle, then the bell sounded and it turned off. When you open the door, it turns on again. The only way to turn it off is to un-plug it. Now we have to leave it unplugged, open the door, put the food in, close the door. plug it into the wall outlet, clear the nanny, set the time and push go. when it's done, unplug it, open the door and remove the food without frying your hand.
Yes, something broke and latched the wrong way in the door latch mechanism, and might be repairable, but I don't have the bandwidth to deal with it and SWMBO wants to play with a small convection oven, so a new Panasonic should arrive tomorrow. We'll see. _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
