Probably b/c their list price is ridiculously high. I drove a loaner Mercedes EV SUV that was quite well decked out, with 185 mile range and regenerative braking. I drove 4 miles but used only 2 miles of range due to this feature. For the $95K asking price I would have expected a range of 300+ miles.
