I was thinking the same - there’s got to be hundreds of builders out there 
offering SBC 350 crate engines for all sorts of applications. Dropping a 350 
SBC in a Jag was a pretty common thing back in the day. I never did it, but I 
saw cars it had been done on to varying degrees of success. I even recall a 
machinist havig quite the sideline making bell housing adapter plates for them.
