Would that be diesel or petro?
Not a bad car if diesel. NO carb to mess with and simple to work on.
Auto in a diesel is a bummer, but as long as she is not going anywhere
in a hurry, she should be fine. Gets around 28mpg. The asking price
is high no matter what engine it has, unless it is close to showroom.
Any rust will make it a $1700 car in my book. Interior in great shape
and no leaks will increase price.

Wow! Really? A VW bug costs that much?
How about the ones from Mexico? Are they any different? They kept making
them there after they stopped here.
