There were some '80 126's...... If it is a manual, then the chances are good it's a Euro! TTBOMK, NO manual transmissions came into US via standard import. A friend of mine in VA has a 126 280SE w/a 4 speed. Great car. I believe it was gray market....

Ok, wait. A 1980 280 SE is *supposed* to be a 116 chassis, correct?
But the picture does not look like a 116 .... it looks more like a 126
.... am I missing something here?
