It was an Isuzu. The '82 or '83 S10/S15 trucks were not though. My dad had an '86 Isuzu P'up, a very well built and reliable truck that needed little other than a waterpump at 161K miles! If GM had continued using Isuzu's as their compact trucks, it would have helped their reputation immensely! I must say, however, that the S10 pickup equipped with the 4.3L V6 was quick!
