I agree, Rusty won't steer you wrong. A also won't use Fram after buying a filter for my (82 or 83) Mercedes diesel. I pulled it out of the box & both the top & bottom element were pleated. Not only would this filter not provide the proper filtering because what was supposed to be mat filtering was pleated, Putting pleated filter media in the bypass (mat) section offers much less resistance & will make your idle oil pressure much lower!
