If you powder coat, make sure you pick a color that's close enough to OEM.
(BTW, does anyone know of a good mfg/color for powder coating wheels to
look like OEM?) Sandblasting, filling powercoating 5 wheels and 20 lugs
cost $300.

Did mine on my 126. 20 (?) hole rims and although the color I picked looks
silver enough, on the car they look grey. Two other modifications
involved fixing the hub clearance so the wheel would fit on the hub and
cutting down the center caps on a lathe to fit the opening, since the
center hole was slightly smaller. Also, my powder coater did the ends of
the lug bolts. First few times I took the wheels off, I cracked the
coating on several lugs, then switched to a larger 6 point socket and lined
it with duct tape. Works fine.

Yah, the color is not OEM, but most people don't seem to notice. (But I
do.)
