Our 240D has inoperable A/C (manual controls though). We did a quick check by starting the car and turning the A/C dial to high. Compressor didn't even attempt to kick in. Aux fan didn't start running either, but it does spin easily.
Can someone give me a quick list of things to check to get started in diagnosing this? ...Kevin 1979 240D 161k mi 1987 300TD 262k mi (in the shop getting inspected)
