I have a cracked windshield in my 87 SDL, called the local auto glass place to get price on replacement. $505 for windshield from Mercedes $377.20 for six pieces of molding $100-$120 for install.
Do I need the Mercedes glass or should I go with a PPG glass, and is it necessary for new molding? I have $100 deductible on my insurance but you can bet I'll pay for it in the long run if I go all original Benz stuff.
