Those were the prominent ones, but the assistant [who had all the wives, and interpreted for the bushman] got in the small [sounded like one cylinder] four wheel vehicle at about 10 MPH max speed and rescued him. For whatever reason the Rover had to be towed back to their base. It was while this was going on that the bus showed up to take the teacher on to the village. I think. BillR
