From my understanding wikipedia works like an online forum, people write stuff and then other people can correct that if they feel they need to. Also you will note that citations and references are required to substantiate what you wrote. In regards to the banning of R12, we cannot stop volcanoes and we cannot stop livestock (and us) from farting but we can substitute a man made substance with another less evil man made substance. Are you starting to see a picture here.
