Yeah, but a buzzer would be a nice backup. Do you keep an eye glued to the oil pressure every second? My '91 VW did not have a pressure gauge, but it had an idiot light AND a very loud, raspy buzzer if you lost pressure while the engine was running. I activated it once or twice banking hard on highway exit ramps, and it was impossible to miss.
