The Mobil 1 website is not knowledgable about out older diesels.  That 
website is there to sell oil -

The best Synthetic oil I've found is the Mobil 1 Delvac - now labeled "Truck 
& Diesel Oil" in 5W40 and widely available at many auto chain stores and 
Walmart among others.
