Maybe but I doubt it. In that case ice had built up under the counterweight. In the morning I removed that ice and all was well.
I put the charger on for about an hour this afternoon, the 4amp setting produced less than 2 amps on the meter. I don't think the battery was discharged significantly. When I tried it in the (relative) warmth of the day the starter turned but sounded HORRIBLE. All grinding and nasty. I think maybe its lost a bearing. Anyway its good to know it'd probably start if I wanted it to. I'll park on the hill at work on Monday since theres no way I'll be able to get in to the Indy until Tuesday at the earliest.
